TfNSW’s Roads and Maritime customer and regulatory services capabilities had undergone a significant period of transformation. We sought a review and advice on the strategic alignment and effectiveness of their regulatory functions for a final phase of transformation to be an agile and responsive regulator in an increasingly complex and fiscally constrained environment.

 

Elizabeth developed the scope of the review project and led an integrated consultancy and internal staff team to assess the existing capability, compare with best practice and recommend targeted improvements, then develop the implementation plan for these improvements.

Elizabeth was able to look across all the elements the programs, from strategic context, delivery model and performance.  She provided an integrated analysis of a complex multidisciplinary business, pragmatic recommendations and implementable solutions.

Elizabeth’s depth of knowledge on best practice management, investment prioritisation, organisational capability building and integrating people, systems and processes to achieve strategic and operational outcomes provided us with great insights to improve the business.

She scoped out and designed the work, and moved quickly within 8 weeks to produce a comprehensive report.

Elizabeth is able to quickly come to grips with the key issues and see the problem in a broader context. She quickly builds relationships with stakeholder, leading teams with capability and judgement. She has an ability to cut through the ‘noise’ to the key strategic and operational issues, aligning strategy with operational delivery, and integrating across teams and disciplines.

 

She will provide you with the confidence that your goals are deeply understood, that you’ll get the right amount of information and consultation at critical decision points, pull all the teams together and make sure they deliver to your strategy.

 

She was able to ‘bring it all together‘ and communicate the key matters in an integrated, coordinated way that would have been missing without her skills.
