What I admired most about working with Elizabeth was her innate strategic grasp of the most complex transport reform program, her curiosity to find innovative solutions to seemingly intractable policy problems, and ability to rapidly formulate coherent implementation plans.  

 

Elizabeth’s superpower however was her tenacity and patience in equal measure to sensitively engage the often change-resistant external passenger transport market stakeholders to embrace the reform agenda; and to mobilise and lead the RMS regulatory team to deliver the P2P program outcomes.  

 

Elizabeth’s success owes a lot to her ability to build a foundation of trust with her teams, the humility to recognise and motivate talent in others, and the courage to confront difficult issues with integrity.
